The Durbin Gallery

Located within the Kennedy Art Center/Azar Studios complex, the Durbin Gallery provides BSC students, faculty and the broader community with an outstanding resource of visiting, faculty, and student exhibitions. The various traveling exhibitions highlight the works of regionally and nationally recognized artists working in a wide variety of media. All shows are free and open to the public. 

Regular exhibitions include the work of the art department studio faculty, the Biennial Southeastern High School Art Competition, the BFA senior exhibition. and a competitive Juried Student Exhibition open to all students enrolled in art courses during the course of each school year.

This exhibition coincides with the Birmingham-Southern Iron Pour, sponsored by the Art Student League.

2024 Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition

The 2024 Bachelor of Fine Arts degree candidates of Birmingham-Southern College exhibit their current senior work.

Juried Student Exhibition

Awards Presentation on Honors Day: Tuesday, May 7th | 9:00 a.m. 

All exhibits are in the Durbin Gallery of the Doris Wainwright Kennedy Art Center & Azar Studios.  Exhibition hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM until 4:45 PM.

Opening receptions and artist lectures are free and open to the public.
