THEATRE STAFF INFORMATION Edwin Booth , Assistant Technical Director / Scene Shop Supervisor This is Edwin's second year at BSC. Prior to moving to Birmingham in 2006, he taught Stage Craft and Acting at Georgia College & State University. Before that he served as Technical Director at Virginia Commonwealth University and Florida State. He hails from the Northeast and began his trek South by working as the Technical Director at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. Here in Birmingham, Edwin has worked with the Seasoned Performers and the Vestavia Hills High School theatre students and has acted in five productions at City Equity Theatre (once with Alan Litsey in a Sam Shepard play), as well as at BFT and BCT. He enjoys bicycling and the Alabama outdoors. Patti J. Manning , Costume Designer / Coordinator Patti has served as the Costume Designer/Coordinator for the College Theatre productions since 1981. She has designed for the Birmingham Opera Theatre, State of Alabama Ballet, Jewish Art Theatre, Birmingham Festival of Arts, and Birmingham Children’s Theatre. This past summer 2016 she was Costume Coordinator for Cable station EWTN’s The Masterpiece Donut Shop series, The Roamin Catholic . Patti has taught costume design for the BSC Conservatory camps and the Summerfest Workshop during the summer and has served as the Publicity Chairperson on the Birmingham Opera Guild and Publicity Co-Chairperson for the Alabama Symphony Decorator Showhouse. She is a past winner of the Lois Garren Award for Excellence in Costume Design and the National Society of Arts & Letters Career Award. Judy E. Pandelis , Manager of the College Theatre Box Office / Academic Programs Assistant Entering her 28 th year at BSC, Judy serves as Manager of the College Theatre Box, oversees the publicity and scheduling of department events, designs music/opera/theatre programs, serves as Officer Manager to the Departments of Art & Art History, Music, and Theatre, and oversees the Biennial Southeastern Competition for the Southeastern high school artists. She is the author of the Children’s Book Bloomin’ Harmony which can be found at www.lulu.com . Her interests include traveling and creating jewelry, educational games/stories/toys for children to inspire them to be tolerant for a better understanding of a global society. Nikki Wahl, Costume Shop Supervisor BA, Theatre, Birmingham-Southern College, 2008 Following graduation, Nikki moved to NYC to focus on stage combat and was an Assistant Stage Combat Teacher at Adelphi University. After Her return to Birmingham, she spent 6 years working at Birmingham Children’s Theatre as an Assistant Production Manager, Stage Manager, Director, Props Master, and Teaching Artist. Nikki continues to work throughout Birmingham as a freelancer in sound engineering and fight Choreography. She is thrilled to be back on the Hilltop in the Costume Shop with Ms. Patti this year.
