A student who has been suspended from Birmingham-Southern College for academic
reasons, in addition to following the procedure indicated above, must make a written
request for readmission to the Provost. A student in this category can be readmitted only
with the authorization of the Provost and is readmitted on academic probation. A student
who has been suspended from the College for disciplinary reasons, in addition to
following the procedure above, must make a written request for readmission to the Office
of Student Development.
A student who has withdrawn from the College for medical reasons must obtain
documentation from his or her physician or counselor clearing the student to the return to
the College. This documentation must be submitted along with the application for
readmission.
