pick him up and carry him around. However, at the end of every day, I would give him a hug before he left.

When I would hug him, he climbed up and pushed himself up on me in order to be carried. I would try to put

him down, but he would always hold on to me as tightly as he could until his mother came to pick him up.

Jay changed my life. During the camp session, I only taught him about magnets, music, and nature, but he

taught me more about communication than any other student ever has. He expressed himself in ways that most

others could not understand, and getting to teach him was a privilege and honor that I will never forget.
