Resources for Faculty

Resources for Faculty

The Krulak Institute is committed to expanding a robust internship program to every area of campus by thinking creatively about internship options for all fields of study.

To help achieve this goal, the Assistant Director of Internships organizes BSC’s rich variety of internship-related pathways and resources into a single hub, streamlining the process for students, partner organizations, and faculty. Specifically, the Assistant Director can help faculty with:

  • Finding new internship opportunities and creating new partnerships;
  • Developing rise3 experiences;
  • Partnering with the Norton Board;
  • Coordinating paperwork, including Internship Agreements and supervisor surveys;
  • Maintaining information on partner organizations and student experiences;
  • Ensuring students receive rich, challenging experiences at their job sites;
  • Troubleshooting issues between students and employers;
  • Assisting with site visits; and
  • Capturing student stories.

Faculty developing a rise3 internship course or working with a student on a rise3 contract proposal should consult the rise3 Proposal Evaluation Rubric.

Faculty recommending an internship opportunity for our students should have the company or organization complete the Internship Opportunity Information Form to get started.
