All projects meet for Exploration Term orientation onThursday, November 16, 2017, during Common Hour. On Wednesday, January 3, 2018, all projects meet at 1:00 p.m. First-Year Students First-year students should complete online preference forms listing their top five choices of Exploration Term projects. Students will be placed in their projects and registered by the Office of Exploration Term and Contract Learning. 1. See your advisor for registration instructions onThursday, September 28, 2017, during Common Hour. 2. Submit your online preference form no later than midnight, Tuesday, October 3, 2017. 3. The Office of Exploration Term and Contract Learning will register you for the project in which you have been placed. You may change projects, subject to project capacity, at any time between the end of upper-division registration and Friday, January 5, 2018. Upper-Division Students Upper-division registration for Exploration Term takes place October 17-20, 2017, onTheSIS. 1. Prior to Exploration Term registration, see your advisor to discuss Exploration Term projects and spring term projects. 2. Exploration Term registration times and instructions will be provided by Academic Records in the weeks prior to registration. Drop and Add Policy All Exploration Term project changes must be made by the third day of Exploration Term, Friday, January 5, 2018. A student cannot drop a project without a grade of “W” after the third day of Exploration Term.
