| (46)Common Grackle
It has a long wedge-shaped tail that is fairly noticeable in flight.
This is a species that partly makes up those huge flocks that you
sometimes see on the campus of Birmingham-Southern College. There are
other species that maybe found in that same flock such as, the Red-winged
Blackbirds, Robins, or cowbirds. Usually at the EcoScape, you will see
these flying over, and they occasionally come down to the parking lots. |
