Why Summer/Winter Research?
For students, the summer/winter months offer a time when they can
concentrate exclusively on a research project, without competing
interests and responsibilities.
To immerse oneself into a summer/winter research project results in
not only learning more about the subject of study, but also further
develops critical thinking skills by learning more about the research
process and constructing solutions to problems.
Students apply knowledge gained in the classroom to real situations
and learn to work both independently and with teams.
