celebrating International Education Week International Education Week at BSC
Birmingham-Southern College hosted festivities Nov. 17-21 to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education.

Symphonic Band Prism Concert set for Nov. 24
The annual Symphonic Band Prism Concert, directed by Ben Posey, will be held Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Hill Recital Hall. The free concert will feature chamber groups and the individual talents of BSC students. Bring friends and family to enjoy a diverse repertoire of music to bring in the holiday season. 

Art alumni paying tribute to Professor Emeritus Bob Tucker
An exhibition by Birmingham-Southern alumni who studied under Robert "Bob" Tucker, BSC Emeritus Professor of Art, is on display through Nov. 25 in the Durbin Gallery.

Four by Tenn: a student-directed theatre production
The BSC theatre program will stage four classic one-act plays by Tennessee Williams Nov. 20-23 that celebrate the will of the human spirit to overcome insurmountable odds. Brent Irwin is directing the production as a rise3 senior capstone project.

Birmingham-Southern College honored two alumni and the father of a BSC trustee on Friday, Oct. 24 for their commitment to enhancing experiential education.
