Information for Transfer Students

Transfer students are welcomed and valued members of the Birmingham-Southern College community.

In addition to the information on this Web page, we invite all transfer students to see our Transfer Student Brochure.

A student admitted as transfer may receive credit for courses completed at another accredited institution that is related to courses offered at Birmingham-Southern. Please refer to Course Equivalents for Alabama Community Colleges for types of credits that are accepted.

The General Education Core Requirements list will give you an idea of where you'll stand in your progress towards a BSC degree.

Our Transfer Student Scholarships page will give you information on scholarships, financial aid, and more.
