Considering coming to Birmingham-Southern?

The Admission staff of Birmingham-Southern helps students who are planning for post-secondary education and are interested in learning more about BSC. Starting in the fall of every year, the college’s nine admission counselors “hit the road” traveling to schools all over Alabama and its surrounding states,including Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, and Kentucky. Through open dialogue and support, the staff begins working with high school students, sometimes as early as their sophomore year, to educate them about the benefits of BSC.

“We work with students from start to finish, helping with the application, setting up a campus visit, and encouraging their attendance at Senior Awards days,” said Tyler Peterson, Director of Recruitment. “The personal attention students receive during the recruiting process is the same type of experience they will receive from the entire Hilltop community once they choose to make Birmingham-Southern their new home for the next four years.”
