We expect success in the arena as well. At Birmingham-Southern, we play to win. So whether you’re talking GPA or goals per game, our scholar-athletes compile some pretty impressive stats.

Birmingham-Southern is a proud member of the NCAA Division III, offering 21 varsity sports for men and women. Football begins play in fall 2007, and men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field and women’s lacrosse are expected to begin play in 2008.

The Panther sports teams are members of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, which is home to some of the most prestigious liberal arts institutions in the country. Other members include: Austin College, Centre College, Colorado College, Depauw University, Hendrix College, Millsaps College, Oglethorpe University, Rhodes College, Sewanee, Southwestern University, and Trinity University.
