Don Noble

Don Noble taught English at the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa for 32 years and is now Professor Emeritus and adjunct professor of journalism. Dr. Noble has hosted almost 200 episodes of his literary interview show Bookmark on Alabama Public Television and has reviewed over 200 books for his weekly segment, Alabama Bound, on Alabama Public Radio.

Please join the Writing Today Advisory Committee for wine and hors d’oeuvres from Kathy G’s at the annual Authors & Patrons Reception hosted by our loyal supporters at the Southern Progress Corporation (2100 Lakeshore Drive in Homewood.) As always, this gathering is an opportunity for patrons to speak one-on-one with Books-A-Million Grand Master Walter Mosley, Major Speakers Julianna Baggott and Frank Deford, and other outstanding program participants. Bring your friends and help us show our presenters Birmingham’s finest hospitality. Cost: $50 per person.
