Hilltop Photo of the Week

Welcome to Birmingham-Southern's “Hilltop Photo of the Week” webpage and archives. Each week at this site, we'll feature a photo that depicts some aspect of life on the Hilltop campus, along with brief information about what is taking place in the Photo of the Week.

The college welcomes submissions to be considered for the Hilltop Photo of the Week. Scanned or digital photos can be e-mailed to the Office of Communications at pcole@bsc.edu, or photographic prints may be sent through campus mail to Box 549004. Please limit photo submissions to those that depict some aspect of the BSC experience, and be sure to identify what is taking place in the photo, along with location and people involved.

Prank patrol—The Margaret Daniel and Cullen Daniel resident assistants (RA’s) and hall directors get ready to prank the New Men's residence hall staff. The ladies, armed with silly string, were able to “ambush” the RA’s of New Men's in one of the stairwells as they were walking down (shown below). Residence Life has proven to be a community of great responsibility at Birmingham-Southern, but with great bonding traditions such as this recent pranking between New Men's and Margaret/Cullen. Pictured above (from bottom to top, left to right) are RA Elizabeth Ballew, RA Kaitlyn Flagg, HD Allyson Cox, RA Emily Rice, RA Elena Goebertus, RA Rachel Buchan, RA Shay Gibson, RA Katie Green, RA Olivia Dodd, RA Sellers Shook, HD Lauren Erickson, and RA Madi Turner. Although surprising the guys quite well, the ladies did stay to clean up the mess they made.
