Hilltop Photo of the Week
Welcome to Birmingham-Southern's “Hilltop Photo of the
Week” web page and archives. Each week at this site, we'll
feature a photo that depicts some aspect of life on the Hilltop campus,
along with brief information about what is taking place in the Photo
of the Week.
The college welcomes submissions to be considered
for the Hilltop Photo of the Week. Scanned or digital photos can
be e-mailed to the
Office of Communications at bwagnon@bsc.edu, or photographic prints
may be sent through campus mail to Box 549004. Please limit photo submissions
to those that depict some aspect of the BSC experience, and be sure
to identify what is taking place in the photo, along with location
and people involved.

Reunited—What better way to stay in touch with friends from college when you're separated than to load up a vehicle with all your best mates and go on a road trip? (From left) Cori Anderson '07, Lisa Glenn '06, and Jenna Lyle '07 left their homes in Seattle, Wash.; Phoenix, Ariz.; and Cleveland, Ohio, this past March for a road trip to the Grand Canyon, all the while capturing their Birmingham-Southern memories and stories. The trio was in the BSC Concert Choir together.

Spring conference—Birmingham-Southern biology majors (from left to right) Lisa Speake, Kaleigh Hussey-Tomich, and Sarah Gammons spent the last weekend of spring break in Nashville at the Southeastern Regional Yeast Meeting, hosted by Vanderbilt University. At this scientific conference, each student presented the research they've conducted as part of the directed research component of their senior capstone experience at BSC. The conference was also attended by graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and faculty members from a variety of Southeastern colleges and universities, including Emory, Vanderbilt, UAB, and Rhodes College. Hussey-Tomich won the award for Outstanding Poster Presentation by an Undergraduate.
