Hilltop Photo of the Week
Welcome to Birmingham-Southern's “Hilltop Photo of the
Week” web page and archives. Each week at this site, we'll
feature a photo that depicts some aspect of life on the Hilltop campus,
along with brief information about what is taking place in the Photo
of the Week.
The college welcomes submissions to be considered
for the Hilltop Photo of the Week. Scanned or digital photos can
be e-mailed to the
Office of Communications at bwagnon@bsc.edu, or photographic prints
may be sent through campus mail to Box 549004. Please limit photo submissions
to those that depict some aspect of the BSC experience, and be sure
to identify what is taking place in the photo, along with location
and people involved.

In the spirit of the holidays—The Admission Office at Birmingham-Southern hosted a Christmas party and gingerbread house-making competition for its work-study students on the last day of fall term classes Dec. 2. BSC Assistant Athletics Director Kyndall Waters judged for the best sugar-and-spice creation, picking the house in the middle with the letters "BSC" in the yard as the winner. The student architects were (bottom row, from left) Kayla Burgett, Kelly Gronemeyer, Morgan Sanders, Kat Screven, and Christie Wenke; (top row, from left) Ben Tracy, Agee Baldwin, Matt Matlock, Kathleen Hillen, and Alyssia Russell.
In the photo below, Chaplain John Richardson (far left), Bunting Center Assistant Director Sara Doughton, and Student Development Coordinator Kyle Lo Porto serve BSC students in the cafeteria ("Caf") for the first Late-Night Exam Breakfast during final exam week. The breakfast was sponsored by the Student Government Association and the Office of Student Affairs.
