Photo of the Week
Welcome to Birmingham-Southern's “Hilltop Photo of the
Week” web page and archives. Each week at this site, we'll
feature a photo that depicts some aspect of life on the Hilltop campus,
along with brief information about what is taking place in the Photo
of the Week.
The college welcomes submissions to be considered
for the Hilltop Photo of the Week. Scanned or digital photos can
be e-mailed to the
Office of Communications at bwagnon@bsc.edu, or photographic prints
may be sent through campus mail to Box 549004. Please limit photo submissions
to those that depict some aspect of the BSC experience, and be sure
to identify what is taking place in the photo, along with location
and people involved.

Embracing a community's kids—Some 100 Birmingham city youth braved the heat to attend Birmingham-Southern Head Football Coach Joey Jones' one-day basic skills football clinic held recently at the BSC Intramural Fields. The annual event is free of charge for city youth ages 8-14 and is supported by Buffalo Rock, Princeton Medical Center, Royal Cup Coffee, and Brasfield and Gorrie. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day, participants received gridiron fundamentals by BSC football coaches and players. They also were treated to lunch and received a Joey Jones Football Camp T-shirt. The camp provides an opportunity for Jones to reach out to the local community as well as build a fan base for Panther football. Jones is pictured standing on the far right.
