Hilltop Photo of the Week
Welcome to Birmingham-Southern's “Hilltop Photo of the Week” web page and archives. Each week at this site, we'll feature a photo that depicts some aspect of life on the Hilltop campus, along with brief information about what is taking place in the Photo of the Week.
The college welcomes submissions to be considered for the Hilltop Photo of the Week. Scanned or digital photos can be e-mailed to the Office of Communications at email@example.com, or photographic prints may be sent through campus mail to Box 549004. Please limit photo submissions to those that depict some aspect of the BSC experience, and be sure to identify what is taking place in the photo, along with location and people involved.

Almost home—A group of Birmingham-Southern College students take a break from their intense studies at St. John's College at Oxford University in England to visit—and have a little fun with—the famed Stonehenge. These students are part of the college's British Studies at Oxford, a summer program in its 34th session in which students spend six weeks of study for academic credit at Oxford University.
Students live and dine in the 17th century buildings of St. John's College and attend lectures and seminars covering the arts, history, literature, and philosophy of a distinguished age of Britain's past. Some 16 BSC students traveled to the United Kingdom this summer to study various subjects from Renaissance Chivalry to the History of Science in early modern England. Their studies are enriched with trips to British castles, towns, and monuments, such as Stonehenge.
