BSC launches redesigned website

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Birmingham-Southern College unveiled its redesigned website, www.bsc.edu, on Monday, Aug. 12.

The site, which has a clean, bold look, is designed to be easier for all users and to better highlight advances at the college.

Some of the highlights of the new site include:

  • On-trend navigation based on megamenus that offer users the ability to get almost anywhere in the site with one or two clicks;

  • A dynamic news and events section on the home page;

  • And an Emergency Information center to share information in case of weather closings or other emergencies.

“There is much more to come, especially expanded video and other content that tells the BSC story,” said Mike Hamilton, Director of New Media. The BSC Office of Communications designed and built the site entirely in-house. “We are also evaluating our options for a mobile version of the site and a social media hub.”
