Jazz on the Hilltop

Birmingham-Southern College and Magic City Smooth Jazz will present a “Jazz on the Hilltop” community concert and festival on Sunday, April 7, featuring Overfloe, Chad Fisher, and the BSC Jazz Band.

“Jazz on the Hilltop” will take place from 4-6 p.m. at the Lake Park on campus. The concert is being held in conjunction with the college’s “Forward, Ever Birmingham” program observing the 50th anniversary of the 1963 civil rights movement.

Everyone is invited to this free, public, family-friendly event. Community members should bring folding chairs and blankets to get comfortable on the lawn. There will be an inflatable play area and face-painting for kids and lots of food vendors.

Corporate sponsors include Coca Cola, Full Moon BBQ, Steel City Pops, Melt, and Prideline Transportation.
