Birmingham-Southern College business graduate student receives achievement award

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-Birmingham-Southern graduate student Chris Forsythe of Crestwood is the recipient of the Dyson-Wagnon Masters Academic Honor Award presented during the college's 2010 Honors Day Convocation.

The award, named after former BSC staff members David Dyson and Constance Wagnon, recognizes a student in the college's Master of Arts in Public and Private Management program who has achieved the highest grade-point average.

Forsythe, who earned an undergraduate degree from BSC in 2002, is on staff at the college as an admissions counselor.

Forsythe was also inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honor society open to students in business related fields and recognizes those whose demonstrate outstanding performance in undergraduate and graduate work in business and accounting. He will graduate from the MPPM program May 15.
