Local students receive Birmingham-Southern College accounting awards

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-Four Birmingham-Southern College juniors are the recipients of the J.G.H. Morris Scholarship for academic excellence in accounting.

The awards, presented during the college's 2010 Honors Day Convocation, are sponsored by the BSC Department of Business and Accounting and presented to accounting students. This year's award recipients are:

Lindsay Brigham, a business administration major from Germantown, Tenn., and the daughter of Frances and Carolyn Brigham.

Clayton Malcolm, a business administration major from Marietta, Ga., and the son of Scott and Laurel Malcolm.

Avani Patel, an accounting major from Vestavia and the daughter Dr. Ajay and Rupa Patel.

Patrick Price, an accounting major from Brentwood, Tenn., and the son of Ralph and Cristen Price.
