Birmingham-Southern professor publishes fourth edition textbook

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Clint Bruess, professor of education at Birmingham-Southern College, has released the fourth edition of his textbook on human sexuality. The book is co-authored by Jerrold Greenberg, a professor emeritus at the University of Maryland, and Sarah Conklin, a professor at Northern Illinois University.

The 2011 publication, titled “Exploring the Dimensions of Human Sexuality,” was published by Jones & Bartlett Publishing Company. Highlights among the 22 sections of the text include a chapter on “Sexual Ethics, Morality, and the Law,” which covers topics often overlooked in human sexuality courses, a section on evaluating sexuality information on the Internet, additional information about sexuality and college students, and updated information about a wide range of topics related to human sexuality.
