Birmingham-Southern theatre professor elected to lead Southeastern Theatre Conference

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.— Alan Litsey, professor of theatre at Birmingham-Southern College, was elected president of the Southeastern Theatre Conference at its recent annual convention.

In its 61st year, the Southeastern Theatre Conference is the largest and most active regional theatre organization in the nation.

Litsey, who joined the BSC faculty in 1991, earned a bachelor's degree from the University of LaVerne, a master's degree from Michigan State University, and his Ph.D. from Wayne State University.
