Birmingham-Southern student selected as fellow for Interfaith Youth Core

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Birmingham-Southern College senior Mallie Dazelle, a political science major from Westfield, Mass., has been selected to serve on the Fellows Alliance for the Interfaith Youth Core for the 2008-09 academic year. She is one of 20 undergraduates chosen from as many colleges and universities nationwide.

The fellows, committed to interfaith dialogue, will work with the Interfaith Youth Core leadership team to help make interfaith work a priority on their campuses. Interfaith Youth Core brings together young people of different religious and moral traditions for cooperative service and dialogue around shared values.

Dazelle is the daughter of Gretchen Dazelle.
