Hoover resident receives Birmingham-Southern College award

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Birmingham-Southern College senior Andrew Morris of Hoover is the recipient of the Phi Eta Sigma Senior Award presented during the college's 2008 Honors Day Convocation.

The award is given to a graduating member of the chapter who has maintained the highest grade-point average throughout his or her college career.

Morris is a business administration major and the son of Yancy and Rosalyn Morris. He will graduate from the college May 18.
