Birmingham-Southern names new members to Norton Board

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Birmingham-Southern College has announced six new members of its Edward Lee Norton Board of Advisors. New members are:

Dr. Hutton P. Brantley of Homewood, chief medicine resident, Baptist Health System; Richard D. Brown of Mountain Brook, pediatric nurse practitioner and instructor, UAB School of Nursing; Doreen M. Dudley of Southside, director of pastoral care at Children's Health System; William B. Steiner of Hoover, director of business solutions, Vulcan Materials Company; William P. Stowe of Mountain Brook, veterinarian, Montclair Animal Clinic; and Gregory C. Townsend of Irondale, health service administrator, Jefferson County Department of Health.

Established in 1974 to honor the memory of the late businessman and Birmingham-Southern alumnus, the Edward Lee Norton Board provides “a perpetual forum for mixing the academic and theoretical wisdom of the college with the practical advice of the Birmingham business and professional community.
