Birmingham-Southern president to receive award at reception by Congressman Artur Davis

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Birmingham-Southern College President Dr. David Pollick will be honored tonight in Washington, D.C., with the Trailblazer Award in recognition as an outstanding Alabamian. He will be presented the award at the Celebration of Excellence Reception hosted by U.S. Rep. Artur Davis of the 7th Congressional District as part of the 37th annual conference of the Congressional Black Caucus.
