Birmingham-Southern vocalist to present faculty recital

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Birmingham-Southern College professor of music and vocalist Mildred Allen will present a faculty recital Sept. 30 in the BSC Hill Recital Hall at 2:30 p.m.

Her presentation will feature “Life and Love of a Woman,” the English translation of a piece by Robert Schumann, sung in German and a group of Old English songs accompanied by harpsichord. She will also lecture on her performance to include background information on the pieces. Allen will be accompanied by Adam Bowles.
