David Pollick has been appointed to the Commission on International Initiatives which serves as an advisory and strategic planning body for the American Council on Education's Board of Directors in the field of international and global education. His term, which began July 1, will continue through June 30, 2010. According to the office of the president of the American Council on Education, the commission provides leadership and guidance to the council and the higher education community regarding a number of focus areas: access, success, equity and diversity, institutional effectiveness, lifelong learning, and internationalization. |
