June Jump Start set for June 30
BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—June Jump Start, Birmingham-Southern’s traditional summer orientation day for incoming students and their families, is once again set for the last Saturday of June.
The day-long activities for incoming students include an academic open house, visits to residence halls, a roommate roundup, and placement tests. Parents’ activities include information sessions on topics such as financial aid, residence life questions and answers with BSC staff, and “Lessons in Letting Go . . . with a little help from Mayberry.”
Dress for the day is casual, and lunch will be served. A complete schedule is listed below. For more information such as directions to the college, a list of area hotels, or a campus map, go to www.bsc.edu/visitors.
