Birmingham-Southern's faculty ensemble to perform March 4

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Chagall Trio, ensemble in residence at Birmingham-Southern College, and friends will be in concert March 4 in the BSC Hill Recital Hall at 2:30 p.m.

The ensemble includes BSC associate professor of music Lester Seigel, piano; Miraslava Bartels, violin; and BSC adjunct professor of music Craig Hultren, cello. The group is joined by BSC staff member and mezzo-soprano Jane Seigel and violist Lucina Horner.

The performance will feature twentieth-century works including “Nothing Forgotten” by Hillary Tan, “Trio” by Charles Ives, and “The Santa Fe Songs” by Ned Rorem.
