BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Dr. Jacqueline Leary-Warsaw, assistant professor of music at Birmingham-Southern College, recently presented her research and writing on the French-language art songs and operas composed and published in New Orleans between 1838 and 1911.
She was selected to present “Nineteenth Century French Art Song of New Orleans: A Repertoire Study” at the 49th annual national conference of the National Association of Teachers of Singing held June 30-July 4 in Minneapolis, Minn.
