Anniston Methodist church to host event to benefit Birmingham-Southern College Alabama church fund

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The congregation of Harkey's Chapel United Methodist Church in the Anniston District of the United Methodist Church will host a special show June 24 in support of the Alabama Church Rebuilding and Restoration Fund established at Birmingham-Southern.

“Relive the Magic of the King” with David Lee will be at the Pell City Civic Center this Saturday at 7 p.m.  Lee, the 2004 world champion Elvis impersonator, is fresh off a world tour and will arrive from his Las Vegas show.  Special guest will be Tara Kay, an award-winning “Reba”, with “The Stylings of Reba.”

Tickets are $15 and available until Thursday, June 22, in the BSC Office of Church Relations, or at the door.  Proceeds benefit the Birmingham-Southern Alabama Church Rebuilding and Restoration Fund.  For more information, call 205/531-9957.
