BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Birmingham-Southern
alumnus Todd Harris, an attorney with Cooley Godward in
Reston, Va., will deliver the keynote address at the college’s
annual Honors Day Tuesday, April 20.
Honors Day is a celebration of the year’s
academic accomplishments at Birmingham-Southern.
A 1991 magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa
BSC religion graduate, Harris will deliver the Honors Day Convocation
address at 10 a.m. in Munger Hall Auditorium. The convocation
will include a processional of faculty and graduating seniors
in cap and gown. |

Prior to the convocation, the college’s
six academic divisions will present awards to outstanding students.
In the afternoon,
students and faculty will
present scholarship and creative works demonstrations.
A native of Birmingham, Harris is an associate in the technology
transactions practice group and a member of the business department
of Cooley Godward
LLP Attorneys at Law. His practice focuses primarily on information
technology licensing.
He is a graduate of Yale Law School and
received a master’s degree in
the study of ethics from the Yale Divinity School. |
