BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Birmingham-Southern
College education alumni, student teachers, faculty, cooperating
teachers, and members
of the Kappa Delta Epsilon education honorary are holding a reunion
April 15 at the college.
The event will be at 6 p.m. in Stockham Parlor on the BSC campus.
Speaking to the group will be BSC alumnus and Professor Emeritus
of Education Dr. Bob Whetstone. Additional comments will be made
by several BSC education
alumni.
Dr. Clint Bruess, BSC professor of education
and chair of the Education Division, said that the reunion will
give BSC education
graduates a chance to reconnect
and share developments in their classrooms and school districts. “The
reunion also will launch a new mentoring program where experienced educators
will help ensure the success of recent BSC education graduates,” he
said.
