Birmingham-Southern College to host annual Family Day

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Birmingham-Southern College will host its annual Family Day Saturday, Oct. 4, on campus.
Family Day gives parents the opportunity to spend time with their students and meet their instructors. Activities will include breakfast with faculty, office visitation time with faculty, and presentations by faculty and staff on such topics as the college’s new general education curriculum, undergraduate research, and the college’s International, Interim Term, and Service-Learning programs. Parents also will have the opportunity to tour the new Elton B. Stephens Science Center and the new Humanities Center on campus.

In addition, several campus organizations will hold open houses and provide tours.

The BSC women’s soccer team hosts Liberty University at 2 p.m.
