Birmingham-Southern professor contributes to Mexico's most widely read newspaper

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—An article by Dr. Vincent Gawronski, assistant political science professor at Birmingham-Southern College, was recently published in Mexico's most widely read newspaper La Reforma.

The newspaper has requested that Gawronski become a regular contributor to its “Mexico: A View from the Outside” series. He is an expert on Latin America and Latin American politics. In January 2003, he led BSC students on an Interim trip to Nogales, Mexico, to study the U.S.-Mexican border.

Joining the BSC faculty in 2001, Gawronski received his master's degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his doctorate from Arizona State University.
