Birmingham-Southern names local leaders to President's Advisory Council

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-Six local Birmingham business leaders are the newest members of the President's Advisory Council at Birmingham-Southern College.

The council consists of individuals who have an interest in issues related to higher education and who wish to make a positive impact through input and participation.

New BSC President's Advisory Council members are:

• Marc D. Beaumont, senior vice president of integrated marketing, FitzMartin Inc.
  
• R. Kendall Holman, managing director, Sonovus Investment Banking
• C. Alan Martin, executive vice president, Alabama Power Co.
• Scott B. Reed, senior vice president/branch administrator, Regions Bank
• Margaret Thomas, chief operations officer, Federal Reserve Bank
• Robin Wade III, president, Wade Sand & Gravel Co. Inc.
