BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-Nine local Birmingham business
leaders are the newest members of the President's Advisory Council
at Birmingham-Southern College.
The council consists of individuals who have an
interest in issues related to higher education and who wish to make
a positive impact through input and participation.
New BSC President's Advisory Council members are:
Brooke Tanner Battle, assistant vice president-Real Estate Finance,
HealthSouth Corp.; Robert Eugene Battle, partner, Burr & Forman
LLP; Carmelita J. Bivens, director of special education, Bessemer
City Schools; Warren J. Hawkins Jr., CEO, Banc Partners; Felyicia
R. Jerald, administrator of external affairs, Mercedes-Benz U.S.
International Inc.; Kathy G. Mezrano, president/CEO, Kathy G. &
Co. Inc.; Curtis C. Pickens, regional manager of external affairs,
BellSouth; Conrad W. Rafield III, owner, Rafield Investment Co.
Inc; and Steven T. Stine, senior attorney, Vulcan Materials Co.
