The Communications Office is responsible, as a news bureau, for generating and distributing timely and accurate information about the college. In the task of distributing this information, it is important for the Communications Office to be kept informed about the many programs and activities on campus.

Communications coordinates public relations, publications, and Web site operations on campus. With public relations, the office handles all media relations, advertising, and the news bureau. All media relations, both incoming and outgoing, must be coordinated through this office. The publications area produces all printed materials for both on- and off-campus constituencies. The Web site management area oversees the coordination of the college's Web site, including its content and design. The Office of Communications also coordinates college events.
