Police will verify the identity of the caller in
order to insure the complaint is legitimate.
F. Only two fraternities may schedule band parties
on the same evening. The two fraternities may
not be adjacent to one another and must be in
full compliance with all sections of this policy.
Priority will be given to the two fraternities that
schedule their band parties first on the social
calendar in the Office of Student Development.
The only exception to section I is Block Party.
All fraternities may schedule a band on Block
Party but must adhere to all Block Party agree-
ments as mandated by Student Development.
An exception to this rule may be made by the
Student Development staff on a case by case
G. Publicity for Greek organization parties must be
limited to the College community. While individ-
ual invitations may be given by individual mem-
bers, no group invitation to organizations out-
side the College may be given without prior
approval from Student Development. In addi-
tion, any online publicity of events must be lim-
ited to students of the College and their individ-
H. The College expects fraternities and sororities to
comply with their respective inter/national poli-
cies with regard to risk management and social
host regulations, as well as all the policies and
procedures in this Student Handbook. Failure to
do so will result in disciplinary action.
STUDENT EVENTS CLEAN-UP
Under normal circumstances, the organization
must perform routine clean-up prior to 8:00 a.m.
the day following the function.
This clean-up will include picking up cups, cans,
etc., and putting them in trash bags; removing
all posters, signs, balloons, etc., and putting
them in trash bags; picking up public areas
including restrooms, foyer, lawn area, and park-
ing lots surrounding the area where an event

be charged extra for the clean-up.
A group member must monitor the restrooms
throughout the function to assure they are func-
tioning properly. If problems are encountered,
they must be reported immediately to the Cam-
pus Police in attendance who in turn will report
them to Operations. It is the responsibility of
the person or persons in charge to prevent any
abuse of facilities, functioning or non-function-
ing of equipment or facilities, and to report any

EVENT CLEAN-UP CHECK LIST
Cups, cans, decorations, and all other trash are
in bags. Trash bags are secured and placed in a
designated place for Operations to pick up.
Trash bags are available in the Office of Facili-
ties and Events in Munger.
Bathrooms are picked up and in order.
Surrounding areas (including main parking lots)
are free of cups and cans.
Operations will check the facility and surround-
ing areas and will report any violations to the
Director of Facilities and Events.
The organization or group may be fined if clean-
up is not performed as specified.
DECORATION GUIDELINES FOR ALL
All decoration proposals must be submitted in
writing to the Director of Facilities and Events
for approval and coordination.
No posters or other signs may be hung on glass,
paint, or doors.
Scotch tape may not be used to hang signs.
All decorations must be removed at the conclu-
sion of the event.
Nothing may be pinned, taped, or otherwise
affixed to the curtains in Munger Auditorium.
The moving of College furniture must be done
by Birmingham-Southern Operations.
Decorations may not be affixed to ceilings or
