AlcoholEdu Instructions for New Students
Please follow these instructions to complete AlcoholEdu by August 23. If you have any non-technical questions about the course, please contact Student Development at 205.226.4729. Technical questions should be referred directly to the links on the AlcoholEdu webpage.
To complete the course, you will need a computer with Internet access and audio capabilities. If you do not have access to a computer capable of handling the technical requirements, you may want to try your public library. Additionally, computer laboratories are available at BSC if you wish to complete the course on campus prior to the deadline.
To complete Part 1:

Under New User, enter the following Login ID: C100937A

Click “Submit”

On the registration page you will create your AlcoholEdu® account. To be recognized as having completed the program, you must use your BSC email address and student ID. You can find your ID number on your student ID card if you obtained one at Summer Orientation. Please note: Use only the last 7 digits from your ID card; exclude the first 2 zeroes. Contact Admission at 205/226-4680 or Student Development at 205/226-4722 for further information about your student ID.

You may log in and out of the course at the end of each section. Section ends are marked with a Next button. DO NOT LOG OUT until you click Next, or you will have to repeat that section.

When you return to the course, log in as a returning user and enter the same email address and Password you created when you first logged into the course.
Special Notes

Part 1 must be completed by August 23. Part 2 will be completed after you have arrived at BSC.

It’s a confidential survey. We’ll know that you completed and passed the course based on your login information, but we want know any of your individual answers to questions.

If you’ve completed AlcoholEdu previously, you need to supply documentation of your prior completion. You must either forward your prior completion email or login to your account and submit completion information, which can be accomplished by taking a screen shot of the online information and sending to us in an email.

If you have any technical problems with the course, the AlcoholEdu Online Technical Support Center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Simply click on the “Help” button located in the upper right-hand corner of every AlcoholEdu® screen. As this program is run by an organization beyond BSC, we cannot help with technical support unfortunately.
