Residence Halls

There are seven housing units on the BSC campus:

• Bruno Hall
• Cullen Daniel Hall
• Margaret Daniel Hall
• Bill & Lyndra Daniel Residence Hall
• Hanson Hall
• New Men's Hall
• Hilltop Village Apartments

Bruno Hall

Bruno is a seven story women’s hall arranged in a suite design that has the capacity for 200 residents. Bruno usually houses junior and senior residents. There are eight suites per floor and each suite contains a furnished sitting room, four furnished private bedrooms, a double vanity and a bathroom. Each suite can control its own heating and cooling by a thermostat in the sitting room. Bruno has two elevators serving all floors and the third floor lobby is accessible from the quad circle. Bruno has a computer lab on the second floor and laundry facilities on the first floor. All floors in Bruno are Option 24 visitation.

Bruno rooms are compact with a desk, chair, bed and wardrobe. Additional storage can be found in the suite closet area. The desk has a small shelf and several drawers. The wardrobe is quite spacious. The entire suite is carpeted and each room has a window with blinds.

Cullen Daniel Hall

Cullen Daniel is four-story women's hall with a capacity of 113 residents. It is located between New Men's Hall and The Cellar with a second floor entrance onto the quad deck. It is identical to Margaret Daniel in building design. A computer lab is located on the second floor. Cullen Daniel is all Option 24 and houses mainly freshman.

Rooms in Cullen Daniel contain two desks that have shelf space and drawers. A bulletin board and light are part of the desk, however, an extra desk lamp is recommended. The furniture in Cullen Daniel is moveable, the dressers are large and the beds may be bunked. The rooms have two wardrobes with a large shelf and plenty of hanging space. The floors are not carpeted. An area carpet works well with any furniture arrangement. The windows have Venetian blinds. Cullen Daniel, as seen from the residence hall quad. Margaret Daniel Hall

Margaret Daniel is a four-story women’s residence hall with a capacity of 116 residents. It is located between Goodwin Hall and The Cellar with a second floor entrance onto the quad deck. It is identical to Cullen Daniel in building design. Margaret Daniel is Option 10-1-2 visitation and houses mainly freshmen.

Rooms in Margaret Daniel contain two desks that have shelf space and drawers. A bulletin board and light are part of the desk, however, an extra desk lamp is recommended. The furniture in Margaret Daniel is moveable, the dressers are large and the beds may be bunked. The rooms have two wardrobes with a large shelf and plenty of hanging space. Bill & Lyndra Daniel Residence Hall

Bill and Lyndra Daniel Residence Hall is a four story, suite style men’s residence hall with a capacity for 67 residents. Recently renovated in 2002, Daniel offers upper-class men a choice of either three or four bedroom suites. Daniel is located on the residence hall quad in between New Men’s Residence Hall and Hanson Residence Hall. Daniel Hall has an entranceway on the second floor residence hall quad side. It also has two entrances on the first floor, with one near the New Men’s Loading Zone, and the other near Hanson Hall.

Each suite has a common room, a common bathroom, a common toilet, as well as climate control. The hallways and bedrooms are carpeted. Each bedroom contains a low loft bed that will cover a three-drawer chest and bookshelves, one desk, and a wardrobe unit with a drawer in the bottom. An elevator provides service to all floors. There is a computer lab located on the third floor as well as a laundry room located on the first floor with an ice machine. Daniel is option 24.

Hanson Hall

Hanson is a two-story men’s residence hall with a capacity for 152 residents. Facing the academic quad, rooms in Hanson are large and have moveable furniture. Each pair of rooms shares a small bathroom. All hallways in Hanson are carpeted. It is a popular hall because of the large rooms and suite bathrooms. Hanson is occupied by upperclassmen and is Option 24.

New Men’s Hall

New Men’s is a seven-story men’s hall with a capacity for 220 residents. The residents of New Men’s are primarily first-year and second-year students New Men’s features traditional style residence hall rooms with a common bathroom on each floor. The bedroom furniture is fixed and makes efficient use of space. An elevator provides service to all floors and there is a computer lab located on the first floor. The hallways are carpeted. New Men’s connects to Cullen Daniel Hall and has a third floor entrance onto the residence hall quad. New Men’s Hall is Option10-1-2 and Option 24 visitation.

Each room has two built in desk areas with shelving above, a bulletin board, desk light and standard drawers. It is recommended that you bring an additional desk light. The beds have two drawers underneath that pull out for additional storage. There is a large bulletin board area on the wall above the bed with a light at the top. The closets are very large with doors and shelves. The floors are not carpeted and area rugs work very well. All the windows have blinds.

Hilltop Village Apartments

The opportunities for living on campus just got a whole lot more exciting at BSC!  The college has purchased the Hilltop Terrace Apartments located on the North side of campus between the baseball and football fields.

The completely renovated apartment complex contains sixteen buildings and will house approximately 350 students.  The apartments have all stainless steel appliance and washer and dryer units.  In addition to upperclassmen, the Hilltop Village will be open to students participating in theme housing - where students will live and study around a particular subject or interest, such as Spanish, wellness, or recycling.  There's even a pool!
