Office of Church Relations

The Office of Church Relations connects The United Methodist Church to the College by recruiting students from United Methodist congregations, seeking financial support, offering more than 300 scholarships for those students, and providing resources and programs for the Church.

In this way, the work of the Director of Church Relations intersects the work of the Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, Institutional Advancement, and Campus Ministries. By relating to the Boards of Higher Education and Campus Ministry, the Boards of Ordained Ministry, and the Councils on Youth Ministry for both the North Alabama Conference and the Alabama-West Florida Conference and the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry, Church Relations connects the College to the Church. These relationships offer opportunities for resources to be shared, encouraging dialogue and mutual understanding between the College and the Church.
