Religious Organizations

Wesley Fellowship

Thursdays at 7 p.m.

Wesley Fellowship is all about growing deeper in your faith. If you’re looking for a small group, a discipleship group, a Bible study—this may be it. We use the practices of lectio divina, centering prayer, and lectionary Bible study to help us grow closer to God and one another. And there’s usually food. Join us.

Wesley is sponsored by the United Methodist Church and open to all students.

Interfaith Alliance

The purpose of the Interfaith Alliance (formerly Religious Life Fellows) is to encourage interfaith dialogue and cooperation on campus, as well as to increase awareness of diverse faith traditions from around the world.

The Alliance program is open to a small group of students from diverse backgrounds who are both firm in their own faith convictions and interested in learning about other religions and promoting interfaith discussion at BSC.

Agnostics or those without an organized religious practice are also encouraged to apply. Members don’t need to be religion experts, but should show initiative in building an interfaith community on campus, enthusiasm for working with people of different faiths, and willingness to question and be questioned.

Becoming a member of IA is meant to serve as an opportunity for you to grow and to learn about yourself, clarify your beliefs, and make new friends through experiences that will be both fun and challenging.
