Career Planning

Learn how to manage your career with the help of our professional career counselors. We offer one-on-one consultative appointments to assist you with the development of your job search strategy and career action plan. We offer resources necessary to enhance career planning, career exploration, job market research, job search strategies, networking techniques, interview preparation, and résumé writing.

Career Counseling

We offer career counseling to enhance the self-discovery and career exploration process.  We provide guidance and direction and help you address your individual needs and minimize any fear or confusion you might have regarding your career planning efforts. We assist you in developing a sense of professional and personal focus.

We also offer career testing. Our career testing assesses your interests, abilities, and values to match your personality to the career that is the best fit for you.

Throughout the school year we offer various training sessions on a variety of career-related topics. In an effort to equip you with the tools you need, we present workshops on job search strategies, networking techniques, résumé writing, interview preparation, job market trends, professional behavior, and graduate school preparation.Pic 2

We sponsor career fairs, information sessions, recruiter visits, on-campus interviews, and other networking events to give you the opportunity to meet and interact with employers and other representatives from the field to gather information and discuss potential employment opportunities. Also, we offer programs to facilitate your participation in internships, mentoring, job shadowing, mock interviews, and graduate school fairs.
