Thanks for your feedback! In the spring of 2007, the Birmingham-Southern College participated in a national survey of academic library effectiveness. Students, faculty, and staff were invited to complete a web-based patron satisfaction survey called LibQual+. Developed by the Association of Research Libraries and Texas A&M University, the LibQual+ survey is enabling the Library program to identify what its patrons regard as its strengths and weaknesses. There were 265 students and faculty who completed the survey, a response rate of 17%. We are pleased to be able to post the results of the LibQual+ survey. You may see the survey results by clicking here, or the open ended comments by respondents by clicking here. Library staff are in the process of preparing responses to these comments, which will be posted at a later date -- Stay tuned. Thanks again for your interest in the BSC Library & Information Services program and, if you participated in the survey thanks for your time. We appreciate the feedback, and we plan to use it to continue to improve library and information services at BSC. If you have questions about LibQual+ or if you have additional comments, you may send them to: bpenning@bsc.edu
