Content: LexisNexis Statistical provides access to statistical information from Congressional Information Service, Inc.  The service allows users to search summaries of statistical publications, then link to the full-text of selected publications on Statistical Universe and government Web sites. LexisNexis Statistical is the web equivalent of the printed American Statistics Index, Statistical Reference Index, and Index to International Statistics. This database indexes and abstracts printed federal, state, and international statistical publications as well as selected business and professional publications containing statistics. It does not, however, cover the statistics issued by foreign governments. Approximately 15% of the federal statistical publications are available in full text.

Mergents Online is a fully searchable database of 15,000 U.S. public companies (active and inactive) listed on the NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ exchanges. Each company report incorporates up-to-the-minute news items. Also available is access to Wall Street consensus earnings estimates on all companies in the database followed by at least one Wall Street analyst. Mergent's company files also provide access to EDGAR filings dating back to 1993 and updated daily. This database also includes information on 20,000 non-U.S. companies (both active and inactive) representing 95% of the non-U.S. global market capitalization.
