The Official Birmingham-Southern College Ring

Birmingham-Southern College is steeped in traditions—traditions of quality academics, athletic excellence, faith, leadership, service to others, community. Now, the college is bringing back a tradition from days gone by—a tradition that symbolizes achievements, recognitions, friendships, and memories for those who have attended Birmingham-Southern. The new Official Birmingham-Southern College Ring will again become a symbol of pride and loyalty for all who qualify to wear it. It will recapture a Hilltop tradition.

The new ring was designed exclusively by students, alumni, faculty, and staff to represent the excellence that is embodied in Birmingham-Southern and the BSC family. This ring will serve as a symbol of achievement unique to BSC graduates, one that identifies them as members of a select group recognized for their outstanding qualities, dedication, and perseverance. As such, only alumni of the college and currently enrolled students who are seniors or who are completing their junior years at Birmingham-Southern are qualified to purchase the ring.

The new ring accentuates both the old and the new—traditions that endure and those destined for college lore. The top of the ring features a black onyx stone with gold "BSC" logo, encircled by the Birmingham-Southern College name and the year of founding.

One side of the ring features historic Munger Hall etched below the graduation year. The other side features the Edwards Bell Tower etched below the major/degree symbol. Space inside the band of the ring is available for fraternity/sorority, student organization, honorary, or other information.
